Hi, I'm Flynn Condit! I'm a Legislative Intern at Congressman Jason Crow's Washington D.C. Office and Presidential Federal Intern with MSU Denver. Whether its foreign policy, digital strategy, or photo-documentary fieldwork, I'm well-equipped to meet the intersectionality of today's challenges.
"The Periphery" Photo-Documentary Exhibition at the Auraria Library, on April 22nd, 2025 (image credit: Auraria Library).
On April 22nd, 2025, I presented the first-ever exhibition for my photo-documentary on class and stagnation in the Eurasian post-Soviet republics. Featuring guest speaker Dr. Robert Moeller specializing in European affairs, "The Periphery" Exhibition combined Wallerstein's cutting-edge World Systems Theory to the tangible reality of what life is life for Eurasian peoples today. I took thousands of photos and conducted interviews across the south of the former USSR, shedding light for the first time on historic locations still shrouded in Soviet obfuscation.

I'm graduating from MSU Denver with a 3.98 GPA with a BA in Political Science, and a minor in Journalism and Media Production. My undergraduate capstone was a peer-reviewed & comprehensive research project focusing on rebalancing labor relations in the United States. My thesis - codetermination, a system where workers get a seat at the table of their own company, a time-tested German method of industrial relations. Through my white paper, policy memos, and mock-up legislative testimony, I successfully defended my findings in a live presentation, and finished my studies in Politial Science.

I took part in the Model United Nations of the Far West in 2024, where I represented MSU Denver as China. I participated in the General Assembly's Third Committee, and as a team, we won two awards for the first time in over 10 years. Our awards: The Lancyka Award for Diplomatic Excellency, and the Mike McBride Outstanding Resolution Award for creating and passing the most highly-acclaimed resolution in the confrence.

With 5 years of experience doing freelance web design, my most recent project was designing and creating a digital publication which soon expects to be featured in major content aggregators including MSN and Yahoo. Final products included custom logos with three color variations, custom-built backend dashboards for content writing, integrated low-code polling functionality, auto-syndicating content widgets, and a fully-responsive and accessible website.

As a Public Pathways Fellow for the MSU Denver Institute for Public Service, my chief responsibility was to ramp-up communications infrastructure. With my work, the Institute created their very first comprehensive contact database, segmented on key attributes such as donors, featuring high-profile names like former Secretary of Defense Jim Mattis. In addition, I've edited and developed the Institute's first targeted email campaigns and newsletter, elevating the profile and transparency of the Institute for Public Service.

As a Digital Communications Intern at the Colorado Department of Transportation, I pioneered UTM codes for the first time in CDOT communications, a cutting-edge method of analytics collection. These UTM codes allowed us to collect the referrer's source (facebook, newsletter, etc.), medium (cpc, social, etc.), campaign, and content. This allowed A/B testing for one of the first times in our social media and email, and allowed us to track ROI effectively. I also conducted polling, created regular Google Analytics reports, and made data-based edits to our website and communications channels.
The Periphery (2024) is a 2-year photo-documentary project exploring post-Soviet stagnation and exploitation. In April of 2025, I presented my findings at an exhibition at the Auraria Library in Denver, Colorado.
